In 2009 at the age of 17, I found my first breast lump, and had surgery to have it removed. In 2015 at the age of 23 I found my second, with a surgery date to be determined. No, I do not have breast cancer, but traveling from ultrasound appointments to meeting with breast surgeons gave me a small, but sour taste of what life would be like if my diagnosis were positive. My goal is to raise awareness for women fighting Breast Cancer in their 20s, and help them get through such a mentally and physically exhausting battle. I want to remind women to keep track of their personal health, and to recognize that not all women in this age group are fortunate enough to be cancer-free. Each donation helps women that struggle with pain I can't begin to imagine, and they deserve our help!
